prologue - last one more final concert
episode one - beat shows up, meets quaver and crest, leaves town with quaver. both go to the arena that the last one more final concert happened in, quaver plays something on stage, a H.A.R.M officer appears, Silence start appearing, motorcycle chase sequence to the tune of RE-TUNED.
episode two - rest is debriefed on the incident, treble and clef get arrested for the incident, quaver feels bad, her and beat break in to the prison to get them out, get captured in the process because yeah duh. clef and beat fight, treb explains that no you don’t get out of these places, beat memory sequence one happens, penny first appearance, recess fight, dampener room shift, recess again, repeat a couple times. clef and beat fight again but in the break room this time. memory sequence two. baseball, dampener sabotage, escape sequence to the tune of BANG! during there’s also the interviews from D.C. going in order of clef, treble, quaver, beat. don’t remember when exactly but that’s the order. also, first mention of beat being nothing. final escape segment on train to the tune of WAITING. rest shoots kaiju-sized silence with a barrett 50 cal.
episode three - escape continues through sewer system, into water treatment system, leading to a small shack on the beach next to a small town. first full introduction of poco and apoco happens roughly here. treble and clef leave, treble tells beat to pay more attention to quaver. poco and apoco try to bribe you to crawl off and die or something, beat finds a photo of quavers parents, cops beat up beat and poco/apoco steal the photo. band poster making, song practice at the lighthouse (acoustic rendition of FAMILIAR which we fucked up instantly btw), poco/apoco show up, tell beat that she sucks, burn the photo to traumatise a twelve year old. clef comes back, leaves cause beat’s mad and nothings gonna go well. treble comes back, calls beat an idiot, penny’s here somewhere. clef comes back, bands back together. iirc there’s two memory sequences in here somewhere.
episode 4 - big city! dampeners hurt beat, surely that’s not important. album making is important, help guy out of manhole. fix arcade by breaking another dampener. pennys here again. she offers to help do the mixing for the album tracks, makes the most corporate sounding slop imaginable, surely this isn’t important foreshadowing. penny feeds beats obsession with the album, leading to beat being constantly tired and angry with the others, leaning on penny more and more. surely that’s fine. every concert they do sucks because beat isn’t at 100%. memory sequences are in here, iirc three of them? oh no harm found the recording room how unforeseen ignore that it had a dampener in it. penny says to do a terrorism and beat who is kinda reliant on her by now just agrees because really there’s not a choice. there’s also not an end of episode credit roll here, just straight into
episode five - break into harm tower, beat up crest, break into the works lift, PROPER RHYTHM (ALL THERE IS TO IT), beat up D.C., poco and apoco. get to the top, touch a button that makes a thing go haywire, find the room with the zero moment just kinda there. big dramatic reveal that penny is actually the one behind harm, sforzando, all along. have it fall flat on its face because she was just outwardly evil and borderline abusive for a full episode. have her try to kill beat, fail, chokeslam beat through like 50 stories directly into the memorial that rest is currently at mourning her dead friend and band mate, eve, aka quavers mum. fight rest. have sforzando try and shoot beat, fail, get and get beaten half to death. for fucks sake quaver let go lemme kill her. everything now goes to shit and beat… disappears. credit roll but no FORGETTER, just some news broadcasts about everything getting worse.
episode six - beat’s back home. do a day in the life, late for work, get fired, late for band practice, get kicked out, get hit by a truck. back to where we were before, same tree as the start of chapter one. rest is there, beat’s just turned 21. we’re not enemies anymore we’ve got a world to save. kick in crests teeth til he understands that there’s no such thing as a good cop. beat up poco and apoco in a very confusing sequence that kinda doesn’t matter. beat up D.C. and then leave because he’s too far in, actively thinks the fascist regime isn’t fascist enough and hits beat with the ‘actions not words’ line. beat up sforza- wait don’t cause she’s got no regrets for this to latch on to because she’s just evil. if this isn’t the source then who is. silence thrive on Nothing, so- oh fuck it’s quaver she’s had her everything fall apart. BOOKEND SONG begins, minor interruptions here and there for some development, heart-to-heart between beat and quaver, bonding over dead parents, seven years different. game ends, seemingly beat disappears again? this part is where we have disagreements on things with people, because we believe beat is just dead, the events were processing her last thoughts. but that’s not what you want to discuss. so uh it’s like she meets back up with… someone? no idea actually who. anyways the real credit roll happens.
we might’ve missed a few details. it’s been half a year, the help we’ve got only goes so far. only stuff we double checked was song names to spell them right.
