-- Relapse -- Tabi & Wendy

Things always happen for a reason. That’s what Wendy heard for most part of her childhood and eventually, when she was on high school. That motto stopped making sense to her because she couldn’t imagine how all those things that happened with her during her time in Cheongnam could be part of something big and that would probably change her life. Her mother suffering an accident was a life-changing event, hooking up with random guys in random parties wasn’t. But she didn’t care about it at that time. She wanted to have fun, enjoy her life as much as she could. But enjoying her life fully had its price. She didn’t think it was an addiction, but drinking soon became a part of her life.
However, the time passed, things changed, she changed. The only thing that remained static was how short her tolerance for alcohol was.
Sincerely, the day has been tough and mean to her. She woke up late for her classes in the morning and there was also a seminar she should present but because of her lack of sleep, she ended up messing up everything – she was almost certain that her grade wasn’t one of the best. The cherry on the top was having to deal with some arrogant brats who kept calling the animals of the rescue center old and good for nothing. Long story short, her temper was about to explode and she needed to calm down somehow, that’s how she ended up in a club with a shot of vodka running down her throat, one by one.
It didn’t take her long to feel dizzy and pleased, like a weight was being lifted from her shoulders. She probably changed her mind twice before keeping a less alcoholic drink in front of her. She was blabbing to no one in specific, not really caring if someone stopped to hear her. Just another sip and she’d head back home. She felt tired, exhausted, her muscles were betraying her and she blamed the shots from earlier for that. She felt arms circling her waist but she didn’t fight, she just wanted to rest…
