Kinsenses #2 - Releasing the Supernumerary Phantom Limb
Restricting ones' true vessel into that of a human vessel can feel irritating, stressful, and uncomfortable. In this post, we will focus on the freeing of the SPL, and reshaping the vessel of the mind.
To start this meditation, you must get yourself comfortable. A safe position is to lay on your side on a cushioned surface; perhaps a bed, or a large sofa. A carpeted floor may suffice. Lay yourself in the foetal position; curl yourself up, hug your knees, and tense all muscles as tightly as you can for ten to fifteen seconds, then release.
This beginning maneuver primes the body by removing built-up stress; the 'fight or flight' reflex can build up in our minds and bodies when we are not our true selves; by causing a lactic acid build in our limbs by holding fast all muscles, we fulfil the 'flight' condition, thus releasing stress.
From here, in the foetal position, close your eyes and imagine your true vessel. In example, if you have a canine or perhaps vulpine form; imagine the true bend of your feet and legs; visualise your paw pads where the pads of your feet are; your heel is higher up your foot, your toes are digits of your hindpaws - they always were; you just tend to walk with them flat to the ground instead of in the air these days.
Picture your tail, which sprouts from the base of your spine; let it wave freely behind you in your foetal position. Visualise your front paws; your thumb as your dew claw, the pads of your paws, they are all in the right place.
Visualise your snout; your nostrils are where they need to be; your canine teeth are sharp; you are the shape in which you know that you are. Picture your ears, how they stick out from your head.
Picture the sensations of your tail, ears, snout; the movement of your limbs; feel the sensations deep within yourself. Wag your tail; you are yourself.
Picture your true form for as long as you desire, curled up somewhere safe. You were always this form. You always will be.
