i really do NOT like people who constantly think that ALL of younger/est siblings are treated like angels. like i get if you were raised in a house where that was the case. but overall it just sucks.
i dunno about you but for some of us, younger siblings are literally mistreated to hell. most are neurodivergent/mentally unstable but DON'T get the attention they need because their parents/older siblings grew up in environments where mental illness/disorders were frowned upon.
a lot are unintentionally/indirectly abused by their parents for liking things (can confirm. it happens to me.) and sometimes are told that they wont get anywhere because of their interests.
some of SEVERELY depressed and CAN get help but DON'T because of their surroundings. sometimes older siblings (not all, but a lot.) go DOWN their throats for being upset, let alone having opinions/emotions about something.
i personally grew up in a household where the older one was constantly praised and they almost got drunk off of said praise and then when i didn't agree on something or like something they like, they'd verbally abuse me. at the point in my life where i was going through emotional/mental changes, i was put in a school that traumatized me and my parents paid NO attention because "im the younger one and i shouldnt be sad about anything". it's been 6 years since my first day at that school and my trauma was only JUST recognized by my father, my mother is still oblivious and my older sister doesn't care.
younger siblings are mostly always expected to just be happy all the time because well. they're "young". then when they DON'T feel good about something, they're cast aside and looked down upon. it's annoying.
