watching rpdr s12 and it's already pissing me off, like in what world did rock deserve to be in the bottom in e04 over AIDEN?? talk about favoritism, it's even worse than it was with silky in s11 because at least silky had a huge personality and made for good tv, but aiden is just so,, bland? i'm so mad fuckk

Day 9 : Education

i believe education is an important thing, but there are a lot of things at fault with this state and country that prohibit us from achieving our maximum potential. the lack of funds for many colleges have led to innumerable cuts to programs and higher fees for prospective students. basing a decision on how much a school gives you is the worst when you can't pay for it, but the problem doesn't only rely with colleges. public high schools and lower education levels have always been hit hard, and teachers just aren't recognized enough for their actions which can lead to a backward effect when they can't put up with the government anymore. however, it really depends on the student and how serious they take their education. basically, the harder you try, the farther you get. impossible is nothing.

Day 6: Thoughts on Mainstream Music usually, i only like listening to my kind of music. indie rock might be about the music, but it's probably more of an indirect rebellion against "the man" and what's popular. the hipster state of mind included with indie rock has made me into the type of listener I am now, but it's allowed me to go appreciate music that hasn't been killed by the radio. there are songs on the radio that i like, but overkill sucks. when 'take over control' started playing on the radio, i was like uh oh, house is going to become mainstream. but honestly, i don't mind listening to it on the radio because it sounds better to me and makes me move. and it was meant to be commercial. so i think mainstream music is usually just something for musicians to make money with their catchy pop songs, but i guarantee people who only listen to pop will not appreciate music as much as people into other genres.
