I'm coming to terms with the fact that I am, or was, a persecutory protector, the same way Cain is. Our system is flawed when it comes to creating protectors. Even Corci doesn't always do what's best for us.

I've evolved though, and I can see how the old version of me harmed us. Now I have people both in and out of my system I care for, so I'll do better, for them and for me.
