People who don't respect a fandom's line between canon and headcanon need to fucking chill. Headcanons are nice but you don't need to shove it in everyone's face and argue when someone doesn't agree. A lot of people go by what the creator of said universe has set in stone and like it the way it is, others don't and that's ok.

i think out of everything, the one thing that annoys me most about a large group of s/tydia shippers/anti-stalia-ers is that they always make lydia out to be this immature, jealous, hateful girl when it comes to malia/stalia when she is not. say what  you want about lydia martin but she would never be hateful or spiteful that one of her best friends is happy. lydia obviously loves and cares about stiles, whether platonically or romantically or somewhere in between, it doesn't matter. she cares about him and she cares about his happiness. do you honestly think she would hate someone for making stiles happy??
