I probably shouldn't be worried, but I feel like Donald Trump really is going to become president. Or at least the Republican nominee. And that scares me. -IL

In all honesty, I think we’re in the same boat when it comes to being scared that Trump might become president. Just try to keep in mind that if he does become a nominee, that still doesn’t guarantee that he’ll become president. It all comes down to the peoples’ votes and the votes that come from the electoral in each state. So, for anyone who’s worried about who will become president, my best piece of advice is to go out and vote, assuming that you’re old enough to do so. So many people decide not to vote because they think that their vote doesn’t really count, but it does. There have been several close calls in elections where one candidate didn’t win by very many votes. In those cases, those people who didn’t vote could have changed the outcome of the election if they had decided to vote.
Anyway, the moral of the story is that we do have a say in who becomes president, so vote if you can. Every vote matters. If you’re not old enough to vote and worried about what candidate will win, encourage others to go out and vote. We can make a difference!
