7: Strangled

He had enough of it, he was done with playing games and taking it easy on her, but now he had cracked she was becoming too much of an issue for him to feel comfortable in his town. It was fine to deal with the occasional member of law enforcement or a small scuffle between the two, that usually ended with him telling her to beat it or else he wouldn’t be as kind as to let her go, however Celeste didn’t get the message for some reason or another and now she was a real problem...it was only a matter of time until she called another stand user that was perhaps stronger than himself.

Another fight, but this time after winning the man didn’t leave her. He pulled her into the pitch dark alleyway and forcefully pushed her back onto the hard wall, a hand gripping around her neck.

“I’ve given you more than a few chances to piss off and leave me alone.” he hissed, his accent clear and sharp, “All you had to do was fuck off and forget everything about me. But no you had to push it didn’t you.” 

His grip got tighter as his glare became cold and deathly. At first this was going to be another warning but his thoughts shot back to how much of a mistake just warning her was...It’s not like he was a stranger to killing.

Any stuggles that he was met with were ignored, the only thing Harper was focused on was choak strangling every breath from the lungs of the pastel haired girl.

“This isnt a fairytale” he muttered at her, now feeling her last gasps, “there isn’t a happy ending for you...it’s about if you’re willing to deal with you problems first, if you actually dealt with me you could have made your brother proud, but no, you didn’t...couldn’t finish the job.”

When she finally fell limp he let go of her neck and dropped her to the ground. He looked down at her with apathetic eyes.

“Hrmph...Some people don’t know when to quit.”
