***Please note, I created this GoFundMe for the family after reaching out… Nichole Armenta needs your support for Support for Maria's Family
Officers found Maria Florinda Rios Perez De Velasquez dead after she accidentally went to a wrong property
Hello, I'm Rudy Ríos, brother of María Ríos. I'm raising funds to send her body back to her country of origin. We also … Rudy Rios needs you
There are two separate gofundme pages, and I added both. One was made by Maria's brother and the other by a neighbor.
The main issue is that the police still have not charged someone with her death.
Every “True Crime” story (that isn’t just complete sensationalist fearmongering) is always like
“Ashley Jones was found murdered in her apartment in 1986, but police couldn’t seem to find any leads. Police were baffled. The case.. went cold. In 2005, a deputee at the Cantalope County Sheriff's Department realized that one of the napkins in the break room was actually a signed witness statement claiming to have seen Bob Smith commit the murder. This witness statement came just days after the killing, but had never been followed up on. Police tracked down the witness, and Bob Smith, now aged 65, was arrested and, accepting a plea deal, was found guilty in January 2007. In 2024, he was released on parole after serving just 17 years of his 20-year sentence. Ashley Jones’s family.. were outraged.. In response, the governor of Mississippi passed ‘Ashley’s Law,’ requiring all prisoners in the state convicted of a felony to serve the maximum sentence possible without the possibility of parole.”

I’ve watched all of the videos dozens of times - here’s what happened.
A 37-year-old ICU nurse named Alex Pretti helped a woman that federal agents had shoved. For this crime - helping someone - several agents sprayed pepper spray into his face - then they beat him until he collapsed. They pistol whipped him while he was on his knees. Both hands on the ground. Not resisting. Just existing.
They took his gun from his back waistband - he never touched it - but he had a legal permit to carry. The Second Amendment one. The constitutional right one.
And then they shot him.
After he was already down, already gone, they shot him nine more times. Nine. I want you to picture that. A man on the ground, motionless, and nine more bullets.
This is the same government that told us he was a “criminal illegal alien with a string of violent offenses.” He was an American citizen. He was a nurse who worked in the ICU at the VA - the guy who takes care of your grandfather who served in Vietnam, your uncle who came back from Iraq. His criminal record was traffic tickets.
They lied. They executed him in broad daylight on an American street. And then they lied about who he was to make you feel okay about it.
This is the third shooting by federal agents in Minneapolis in three weeks. Three weeks. Three people. One was a woman named Renée Good. One was a Venezuelan man shot in the leg. And now Alex Pretti, American citizen, legal gun owner, VA nurse who spent his days caring for veterans, dead on the pavement at 26th and Nicollet because he tried to help someone.
The same government that wraps itself in “support our troops” shot the guy who actually supported our troops. Nine times. While he was on the ground.
That’s the truth - don’t believe any of the Trump Admin’s lies about what happened.

The family of the 19-year-old atmospheric and earth sciences major released a statement on Thursday.
Headline: Slain Trans UW Student Identified as Juniper Blessing: “The Most Amazing Human Being”
Publisher: Them
Date published: 14th May 2026
Selected text from article:
The 19-year-old transgender student who was fatally stabbed in the laundry room of an off-campus housing complex near the University of Washington on Sunday night has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as Juniper Blessing.
Blessing was a recent graduate of the New Mexico School for the Arts in Santa Fe, according to the Santa Fe New Mexican, who obtained a statement from Blessing’s family.
“Juniper was simply the most amazing human being we have ever known — highly intelligent, extremely talented, and deeply sensitive to the needs of others,” the family wrote via the Santa Fe Human Rights Alliance. “Juniper’s loss not only devastates us but diminishes the world.”

Blessing was a major in the school’s Department of Atmospheric and Earth Sciences. Alongside the Gender Justice League nonprofit, the Trans Collective at UW has planned an on-campus event for those who wish to grieve Blessing. The groups have asked media not to attend, and for no filming or photography to take place.
Thirteen people were shot dead and at least 15 others injured on Bloody Sunday in January 1972 at a civil rights demonstration in the Bogsid
"Soldier F, whose anonymity is protected by a court order, faced charges of murdering James Wray, 22, and William McKinney, 26, as well as five charges of attempted murder.
Foyle Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP) MP Colum Eastwood said it was a "difficult day" for the Bloody Sunday families, but said they could "hold their heads up high".
"It is absolutely clear that those soldiers, including soldier F, shot and killed people on Bloody Sunday," Eastwood said.
"These were innocent people, no weapons, just on a civil rights march, mowed down by the parachute regiment of the British army. That's what happened and that's absolutely clear.
"Everybody now knows what happened on Bloody Sunday," he added. "Everybody knows the victims were innocent and everybody knows where the guilt actually lies."
The decision to charge Soldier F was taken by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) in 2019.
He was one of 18 former soldiers reported to the PPS as a result of a police investigation, which followed the public inquiry into Bloody Sunday conducted by Lord Saville.
But he was the only one charged."

They really thought it was a trans woman. They wanted it to be a trans woman so bad. They made up details to leak to the press because they wanted it to be a trans woman. Turns out, it’s not.
