MOLTRES RELATIONSHIP
Candela is actually Moltres’ chosen one, their Herald that takes on the responsibilities of delivering mettle in Molrtres’ name for some shared strengths. God’s don’t often flanderize with humans and fewer still will choose one to represent them. Whether Candela was sought out or predestined at some point is unknown and something she rather not think or ask them about ( I mean imagine being born just to toil for some god? ech ).
But because of their symbiotic relationship she has some merits. She’s warmer to the touch though she can’t feel the difference, high energy and metabolism, improved strength and healing, and has small signs of pyrokinesis like the smell of cinder on her always or gentle wafts of smoke when very angry. Not fully mind you. None of these traits make her super-human but rather improved on. These cases would make her gifted or above average on a normal human scale and she still has to work and train hard to keep herself in shape.
Moltres’ and Candela’s relationship was strained when they first met long before GO had started. Similar personalities tend to clash and the like; Moltres being harsh and Candela being bull headed. At some point they came together as friends and later partners. Moltres isn’t Candela’s Pokemon and they both hate the idea of ‘ownership’. Instead she is called upon when in need or comes at her side when she senses a dire situation.
All this being said she hasn’t told anyone about Moltres or the situation. Not even Spark and Blanche. Hard to say if or when she might bring it up.
