[[Hey guys, I know I haven’t been active here at all despite wanting to return.

I’ve essentially been on the brink of homelessness {and will be officially at the end of the month} and dealing with an emotionally abusive landlord that’s pretty much made me unable to shower, eat, or leave my room.

I love Toby very much and I really want to continue writing him and Trollhunters fanfiction, but I’m just incapable of having more than one blog at the moment. I’m barely able to keep up with my main or any of my other hobbies right now due to the stress.

Once I’m no longer in a crisis situation I’ll be coming back here to archive this blog and reboot. For now, however, I’m on a complete and total hiatus.

If any of my partners from before wants to get a hold of me or continue writing, I’m still over on @merlinsmushrooms every once in a while.]]

[[I feel like after Jim’s “disappearance” Toby would be the one that would try to remain strong; continue to live life like normal and act like he’s okay. Except he’s not, and shortly after he begins putting on a facade he just stops. The adventures he went on with the others gave him more courage and strength than he ever realized, but there’s only so much a teenager can take. He’s lost what he considers to be everything. Skipping Class. Not picking up calls from Claire or responding to texts. Ignoring Nana. Can’t even bring himself to touch his video games. Not eating.

It’d probably take some real comfort from Blinky and Claire to reassure him that while things might not be okay, he’s gotta keep his chin up and keep trying. 

They would have wanted that.]]

[[Sorry I haven’t been on here much. I’ve been dealing with IRL stuff and I only usually log on here once a week on top of that. My dashboard here is barely moving, so it seems like most of the people I used to RP with might have moved on or have gone on hiatus.  I’d like to come back to Toby but things are just...kind of slow? I have nothing to really reply to. I’ll do another follow binge with a starter call as soon as I’m settled into my new home. (So sometime around Monday?)

[[Super sorry for going on hiatus without warning here, guys! My main RP blog sort of blew up over the past couple of weeks due to a season premiere. It’s been chaos. Now that things are settling down again, I finally have time to dedicate to other writing— including Toby!  Give me a bit to go back and draft anything that’s needed and get a promo out. [[☀People who approach a role-player with the sole intention of shipping annoy me to no end.This was a huge problem at one point on my other muse. People would make blogs for a character that was commonly paired with him (an 8 year old girl at that. My muse is 40.) , start re-blogging ship memes, ship based artwork (romantic) and then…deactivate a couple weeks later.  Like, really? It was on my rules page I didn’t want that ship brought around me. C’monnn.I suppose my opinion on it would be different if I were playing a different muse, but uh…Yeah. I’m still really off-put by it to this day.♒Trollhunters has such an amazing community!People are sharing their characters, there’s a good variety of healthy ships, a good variety of content in general, people share their head-canons with pride, fan-fiction is ripe for the picking, tons of fan-art and everybody seems to be getting along! I really hope the fandom continues to grow and remain as positive as it is!I’ve made some great friends since I’ve joined and started some really good threads! I also feel like the little fan-fiction I uploaded was appreciated. That means a lot to me.✖I’ve only been role-playing on Tumblr for close to two years now. I honestly haven’t noticed any changes? Granted, I don’t pay attention to trends and have never been into popular fandoms so… ]]

It’s kind of human nature to associate the image of something associated with a bad experience with…bad things. I don’t really focus much on face-claims, nor do I exactly role-play in settings where they’re used very often, but I do have a handful of characters from problematic fandoms I’m flat out uncomfortable playing with unless the mun was recommended to me by somebody else, or they have certain clauses in their rules that ensure the behaviors that I’ve dealt with in the past won’t be a concern.I don’t feel comfortable naming the exacts, however, because it’s opening a can of worms on a website the worms attract giant snakes.]]
