Lovable.

It was inevitable, really. Falling for a man like Dick Grayson. The way he cared for his colleagues, the quick-witted responses, and the dumb chuckle he would let out every once in a while during his coffee runs with you.
A lovable person. If you were to describe his impression, the 2 words came across your mind in a cute shade of pink. The innocent moments where he would playfully bicker when passing on a document, engaging in a childish wordplay to simply piss you off, or offering reassurance when situations got overwhelming. All the memories and flaws aside, ultimately the word 'lovable' suited him perfectly.
It was Valentines Day not long ago, when he remembered the brief interaction between you. The short response of pink tulips being your favourite. He had brought a ridiculous bouquet made of pink tulips that covered his entire torso.
"Okay so it wasn't meant to be THIS big." He mumbled with a flushed look on his face.
"I, uh... didn't specify the quantity because I was in a rush. NOT because I didn't care but because I was chasing a case, and.." His face was still red like the ribbon tying the bouquet together.
Rest of the conversation blurred out in slow-motion. Dick Grayson who was holding a pink bouquet of flowers was standing there in his usual white t-shirt, completely embodying the feeling of love itself. It was such a striking moment that you almost mistook him for love itself rather than resembling it.
Oh god, you were hopelessly in love with him.
Even though you would never admit it to his face, no matter how cringe this feeling may be, Dick Grayson was the embodiment of love itself in your life.
Depiction of Dick Grayson in other DC Comics will always be brighter than his own series. This thought pains me.
