Just some random head canons i had

Set in the 1920′s, prohibition era, duh

Joker runs a speakeasy and is the head of the biggest mob in Gotham

Bruce is a P.I who moonlights as a crime fighter, known as Batman

The secret code to get into Joker’s speakeasies is a joker card

His speakeasies are called ‘Carnival’s and are scattered throughout Gotham

Joker likes to be on the ground floor where everything’s happening, so he’ll often be seen at one of his Carnivals, but most people don’t know who runs them so he stays anonymous

Bruce meets Joker when he’s undercover at a Carnival and doesn’t know he is the mob boss

Joker introduces himself as John and tells Bruce he can help him take down the Joker’s speakeasies since he has connections

Joker keeps everything about himself very mysterious and ambiguous, never revealing any useful information

Batman gets pretty close to the Jokers main hideout, thanks to the help of John, and he manages to take out some pretty high up members

This spurs Joker to realize that Bruce is Batman and he decides to use that to his advantage, telling Bruce false information and stringing him along

That’s all I have for now I just got home after a 4 hr flight and then 8 hours of driving im exhausted but I had to get this off my chest
