decided to post mlp next gen stuff here regardless of y’all’s input and wording it like that makes me feel bad sifks-

u h this is just fluttertwi/twishy stuff cuz that’s the only ship i’m sure on for it right now... it’s called the rareverse cuz i wanna make it basically just have rare (or rarer) ships. like it’s gonna have sweetiebloom (probably) and like. idk if one of the ships is even a thing in the fandom thinking about it. but eh.

so top is them (base by ColaCan-dy on da); i simplified flutters’ cutie mark cuz drawing three butterflies with the base was not gonna happen. her cutie mark is still the same though! i also gave them both streaks from their rainbow power forms because i’ve seen next gens do that (mainly with twi but i’ve seen some do it with pinkie) before and i like it.

bottom is their foal, butterfly shine (base by Trickate, also on da)! he’s agender but uses he/him pronouns because i want to normalize people with nb genders using gendered pronouns! he was born with the combination of magic and love (kinda sappy, but what do you expect when the show’s an unironic overhaul of the whole “friendship is magic” cliche?), and he’s kind of unstable cuz of that; by that, i mean he’s not a strong flier... but he probably wouldn’t be even if he could fly, since neither of his mothers are strong fliers. :/ anyways i love him.

Fallen Angels  -  Angels of the Ocean

Fallen Angels are an old mythical creature (more like a sort of crypid in some cases) dating back way, way before Arkanis was made aware of the wider galaxy as a whole. Be they the outcome of someone drowning at sea, a monsterous creature one is threatened with when one commits sin, or an angel fallen from heaven that lives deep in the dark depths of the ocean depends entirely on which version of the tale you’ve happened across.

These days, they’ve warped even more from their original tales-- often times used as a precaution against trusting strangers with the impilcation that the scaled beast is capable of disguising itself when it comes on land to drag those who don’t follow rules down to the beach to drown them. A sort of scare tactic to keep children behaving and teenagers from sneaking out at night against their parents wishes.

Often times they’re depictied as almost huminiod in nature, with arms just too long and just too skinny, facial features sharp and angular and a mouth full of sharp razorlike teeth. They almost always had a tail, regardless of whether or not they were capabile of shedding it to walk on land. Their fingers are always spindly and webbed. Often times they’re depicted to have glowing eyes.
