- so first off becho has already been dealt with in this headcannon (don’t ask me how, something classy)

- so they are sitting by the fire, catching up and when they say goodnight

- They go for the kiss on the cheek because they are in DENIAL

- But Clarke bobs

- And Bellamy weaves

- And they have one of those awkward accidental kisses

- And Clarke is like ‘SHIT sorry’ and pulls back straight away

- Because although she’s come to terms with her feelings she doesn’t believe that Bellamy feels the same way

- Bellamy, though surprised by the kiss, has closed his eyes

- And when Clarke pulls away he’s like ‘wait’

- Because nothing has felt as right as this in a long time

- And he doesn’t know exactly what to do about everything, he’s kind of a mess after echo

- but he knows that he doesn’t want Clarke to leave

- And he knows that he wants to kiss her again

- But it’s too late. She’s already over by Madi avoiding his gaze

afterdeath as a romcom would be so peak. imagine after the cpau happening, geno wakes up with a throbbing headache and his phone has a message like "last night was great, babe <3" from an unknown contact. like, geno totally freaks out and asks his sans and papyrus what happened at the party. papyrus was sober but he doesn't know anything. sans was so drunk on that eggnog because of the whole scifell thing and he doesn't want to know what happened with geno for his own sanity.

meanwhile reaper is giggling and chatting with life about his "new boo" (they actually didn't do anything last night reaper just likes to fuck with geno lmao). life is glad that reaper has some fun time off work and asks if reaper wants to include geno in their relationship. reaper is like "... wait, do i actually like that mortal?... nah, no way. i mean he's kinda cute but- wait what did i just think".

and then the new year party is held with another batch of invites sent.
