What Is It?
NaNoWriMo is where you can announce a project you want to work on and set a writing goal! You can choose to share as much info or not as you want to about your project :)
Particularly, I've created a community cabin (similar to a group chat/server) where we will write together during the month of November.
Once you announce your project, you can set a writing goal (i.e. 30k by the end of November), which will be posted to our group. Whenever you finish writing, make sure to update your progress on your project. As we write together and make our way towards completing our goal, you can also earn badges which is notified in our group when someone earns a badge.
This is just a great way for us to chat with each other and cheer on fellow writers! 🎉 Also a great way to get your questions about writing answered by fellow writers.
What Will I Be Working On?
I will be hunkering down and finishing Between the Lines 🥴 My hope is to finish it in Nov, if not by the end of the year and there will be a regular weekly posting schedule for the final 7 chapters.
About The Cabin
Things are still roughly within in the works but there will be a limited amount of spots for writers to join. The reason being that I will be asking specific seasoned/OG writers to join the cabin to help newer writers in our group. Also so things don't get too chaotic.
Once I announce how many spots are available, It will be first come, first serve via DMs. Requests to join will not be available until October 7th 8AM MDT. This is also only exclusive to Marvel & Harry Potter Writers.
We will host writing sprints regularly that you can join if you are available!
Our Community will be called, "Write on Witches" & here is our icon made by yours truly 😌
So with that, definitely take the time to consider if you'd like to join! It doesn't matter if you're a brand new writer or if you've been writing for 39847238 years. My hope is that we'll gather together and motivate each other to complete our writing projects while having all the fun 💘
