Thunderstorms are very cool, I love them. Of course I would prefer to be safely inside while one is near.

Once he was sure his twin was fast asleep, he, sneaking out of his room, made his way to the kitchen getting the needed supplies. Tiptoeing to his twin's room, he secretly opened his closet, and filled every coat and jeans pair - practically whatever had pockets - with mandarines and torrone. Leaving a piece of each on the nightstand too, he takes one last glance at his sleeping twin, before retreating with a smile, wondering when Bill will notice the hidden, typical St. Nicholas presents.

I was SO EXCITED because E and I found a coverlet/quilt/bedspread bed-design-thing-whatever that we both liked that was a different color from the pallete you find at every damn store.

It arrived today, and rather than the lovely rich teal we thought it was, it's the same blah washed-out dark but-not-quite-navy that we saw and disliked everywhere else.

So much for the big christmas present to each other...
