I just finished watching iron lung.... I feel so lost and confused,,, wtf did i just watch???

Edit: i read a few comments on yt say that they couldnt decipher the audio towards the end and so did i... Some have also stated their critique saying that the beginning felt too slow and drawn out and i agree (but that could just be a me problem for being impatient) gaaah i wish the lore could have made more sense to me,, im reading a few bits and pieces of explinations here and there and tbh it sounds really cool but the movie for me was,,, eh? I hope to rewatch it again with subs one day, maybe then i'll get it and enjoy it? But rn,, im meh-
