unpopular opinion: people who start celebrating halloween/autumn before autumn even starts ruin the actual halloween/autumn experience. like on one hand I GET IT, and by all means do whatever makes you happy, I know my opinion is definitely unpopular lol. but for me it just cheapens the experience once autumn actually rolls around because I've been seeing halloween/autumn stuff since july...when it's still summer.

and same thing for christmas. I feel like a lot of people start celebrating/getting ready for christmas by november, and then thanksgiving actually feels like christmas just without the presents, and then we just have a second christmas in december and by then I'm like.. over it lol.

I do get it though, cause I do get caught up in the hype and then I start getting excited for it too but I've noticed over the years that, for me at least, it makes it feel more dull once the time comes to *actually* celebrate.

#i would like to some day stop celebrating thanksgiving cause i dont even like that holiday #and i think that will help with the excitement of christmas #but anyways not hating #...just a little bit #lol
