Sometimes I feel like a dickwad and a half for assuming that my followers are female unless told otherwise, by them personally or by their "about me" section or by their posts*

and it's not because I assume that people are female because they're in fandom, but because I'm so genuinely used to female spaces that I can't really think otherwise. 

Which is what happens when you go to an all-girls high school, live in an all-girls dorm for four years, have a social group that is 85% female, hang out in a gal-dominant fandom, work in a bra store and a book store, and date ladies, I guess.

So basically: I apologize if I misgender you at all, and please correct me if I do, I'm just really really really used to using female pronouns at this point /o\

*this isn't based on any specific instances recently or in the past, I was just ruminating on the subject.
