Ink is Blasian ! Specifically Black+Japanese
Originally I just made him black, but then I did some research on his character and there's a lot of Japanese influence in his character, so I also made him Japanese too !
Well there's also his vitiligo. Although it's definitely not realistic kind of vitiligo, it's does however follow the color of his bones
(ignore the drawing it's old body practice. It is also slightly outdated since i draw the lines coming from the centre of his chest like like originally drawn in his bones)
I haven't quite figured out what to do with his "tattoos" tho.
So far I've been imagining them as dark veins visible from underneath his skin regardless which part of his skin it is.
But I don't think there's a real life explanation for them. Specifically the kind that Ink has that is.

I am a chronic rambler and I can't be stopped. So every time I'm discussing music with a stranger, or sometimes even a up-and-coming friend, I mention this

And I have to explain to them that "no, not really, I like a couple of his most popular songs, it's just that Space Oddity is my favorite song of all time because of the poetic, multi-faceted lyrics that tell multiple stories about either death, loss, depression, or breaking through from all of said problems and living life to the absolute fullest, depending on how you view it"
