"I'm a libra 😀✋️"
"When the whole world is on fire and the people you love are at risk, what should you write about? "Whatever you feel able to write. Whatever will make you feel like you can keep living and fighting. Write the thing that you're ready and excited to write—not the thing that you feel the moment calls for, or the story that you think will fix every broken thing in the world. Your job is to survive, and maybe to help others survive. That's it. That's more than plenty."
—Charlie Jane Anders, Never Say You Can't Survive: How to Get Through Hard Times by Making Up Stories
I'm using a dialing software at work, and--look, I knew I was hard up, I knew that, intellectually. And it is true that I'm not wearing my glasses, so everything has has a bit of a blur. But this:
...is not an icon intended to represent a double-ended dildo.
the worst part of not knowing who you are is still knowing who you arent...
...like... i know im not nova. its... pretty obvious..? i can type... and i guess i like elipses..?
...my internal voice is a lot softer than the others...quiet.
... it's this the engine room.
hey, so.. this song with kazuha..
breaking up on good terms with kazuha because you have to move across teyvat. (or whatever country you live in. doesn't have to be in-game.) you agree to remain friends and stay in contact in case either of you happen across each other some time. there's tears, kisses, long hugs and lots of "i'll see you soon"s, but once you've moved, there's... nothing.
you're too afraid to contact him. you haven't blocked him on any social media or anything, but you've muted him because for about a month or two after your move, you just... didn't hear from him. so, thinking that he's completely moved on and cut you out, you did the same.
of course you stalk his socials a little. well, maybe stalking is too harsh a term. let's say that your curiosity gets the better of you from time to time. you check every once in a while and he's posting regularly, posting songs and poems, his cute pictures with friends or alone... kazuha seems so happy.
you remember the nights where you would come home late to see him fast asleep on your couch with a book propped open on his chest. kazuha was a light sleeper then (is he still a light sleeper now? you wonder.) and as soon as you crouched down to brush his hair out of his face, his pretty scarlet eyes would flutter open and he would whisper a small "hi" through his tired haze. moonlight would cover him like a blanket and his eyes would be half open; his beauty on those nights would take your breath away in an instant.
and just as you're about to call it a night, just as you shake away the melancholy, you hear a soft knock at your front door. you tiptoe to the door and open it to see who else but kazuha standing there. it has to be like, two in the morning, and yet here he stands with his hands in his pockets and the most boyish smile on his face. "hi," he says softly.
"i was just thinking about you."
yeah, MAYBE. enslavement? are you for real right now???
phenex is trying her best to prove herself to you. taking advantage of that by you proposing to control her is not a good look for you, and it does nothing to prove her loyalty to the court. if anything, it would only cause tension in her towards the court. being in a controlling environment is NOT GOOD FOR ANYONE! and you know that.
i get that you're all stressed and shit, but valefar? trying to control the situation by controlling someone else is NOT the answer. i think asmodeus could tell you that much. there's always another way to do things.
thank you for somewhat apologizing, at the very least. we'll figure this out, WITHOUT stripping someone of their personal autonomy. - jester
I understand.
I'm sorry. I- wasn't thinking.
-Duke Valefar.
