love the idea of like. hajime and fuyuhiko getting together, fuyuhiko knowing hajime also has feelings for nagito, and him trying to get the two of them closer together too. things are a bit complicated with hajime and nagito, but they clearly really care about each other - they just need a bit of time.

somewhere along the way, fuyuhiko realises he also has feelings for nagito and discusses this with hajime. fuyuhiko eventually goes to talk to nagito, encouraging him to pursue hajime, while also dropping a small hint or two that he’s also interested. he needs to let nagito know that he’s fine with him going out with hajime too (and probably needs to tell nagito that hajime is interested in him because nagito’s too busy beating himself up to realise), and he knows that at least after a little confidence boost nagito is smart enough to notice that he’s also interested with only subtle hints, as long as nagito can trust in his own judgement.

gradually, hajime and nagito manage to work things out and before too long the three of them are spending a lot of time together. hajime can relax a lot more now and he’s basically free to grab the popcorn and watch fuyuhiko and nagito figure things out between them as well dfshgdshfj

nagito has seen fuyuhiko as some kind of... special sort of friend, for a long time. he’s never really thought about their relationship, too focussed on his feelings for hajime to realise why fuyuhiko was different to his other friends (because he has feelings for him), but when fuyuhiko dropped a hint that he was interested, that’s when nagito finally began to think of him as a potential love interest. (let’s be real, he’d probably see the idea of having two partners as some amazing kind of hope or something, which would light a fire under him lmao)

they basically go from 0 to 100. one minute hajime is walking hand in hand with both of them while they talk back and forth, testing the waters and gauging each other’s interest, flirting here and there, and the next minute hajime is minding his own business when he bumps into them somewhere just... making out or something sgfdhgshsfs and he’s like “damn. that was fast” and goes to walk away and leave them to it but fuyuhiko calls to him like “get over here dumbass”
