Look. I don't want to sound like some weird ass elitist but considering I almost always disagree with batfam fans (at least on tumblr) I'd just like to say 2 things:

1. It is possible to disagree and have your own headcanons while leaving people alone. Yay. (A lesson my brother needs to seriously learn)

2. Please read/watch (this goes for fandoms outside of comics too) the originals yourself before basing your opinion on someone else's. I subscribe to death of the author; so all interpretations of a work are valid as long as they derive from THAT work (they can be, for lack of a better word, proven in the text) and not some second hand knowledge. What I'm trying to say is: don't take people word for it, form your own thoughts and feelings about a work, and don't worry about being 'wrong'.
