There's a note on the front door. Written carefully on it, it reads: 'Hello Arthur. I have a few instructions that I'd like you to follow. I think you'll find a fitting reward at the end if you follow all the instructions. First, leave your briefcase in the hall and proceed to the bedroom. There you'll find your next set of instructions.'

Arthur frowned as he noticed the note, pausing in reaching for his keys to pull it off and read. It didn't seem overly-threatening, but he didn't like the implications of it, nor did he want to leave his briefcase outside. He glanced up and down the corridor. No one else was in sight.

He sighed, he'd have to go inside anyway, and he'd need to find out what this note was about. Setting his frown, he stepped inside, ignoring the first instruction to leave his briefcase and instead putting it beside the door before closing it. Again, he couldn't see anyone in his flat as he looked around, not even the kittens running over to greet him. He didn't like that.

He made his way carefully to the bedroom, closing the door behind him as he looked around for the next supposed instruction.
