i know i keep saying "[enter symptom] is the worst part of having fibromyalgia" whenever i'm dealing predominately with that symptom and forget how bad the others can get, but at the end of the day i wish i didnt have to live with any of it. i am so mad i have to live with the constant reminder that in the first quarter of my life i could not get a break in regards to mental and physical anguish. i still cant, but at least i have understanding and medication and supports and greater coping skills now. life turns god's weakest soldier (first form) into god's weakest soldier bent double mouth dribbling blood but with their thumb up, more at 11
living with chronic fatigue is forever chasing a cache of energy that doesn't exist, only to exhaust yourself further. like. what do you do.

ascertained my eyes were hurting too much to continue working on my essay, so i shut my laptop, unlocked my phone (famously featuring an even smaller screen), and started scrolling tumblr. many such cases!
ah yes, it's been two years since i was hospitalised with pneumonia, which means it's my two year anniversary of being so out of it that i thought this hospital mug and the way its facets reflected light onto the hospital tray was beautiful. so beautiful, in fact, that i just had to slap it on ig with a brat lyric, because it was brat summer in other parts of the world; just not in mine.
