Today, Romano found some photos of himself from the Risorgimento.

The uniform is amalgamation of various officer uniforms, with some creative liberties ;))

The Bersaglieri, today, are marksmen troops in the Italian Army. Although their kingdom of origin, Sardinia, was in Northern Italy (and a sizable island off the cost of Rome) I think their tactics and are best suited for Romano. Because the Bersaglieri are some of the oldest sectors of the Italian army, there is a lot of heroic and violent disciplinary history associated with them, just as there is with any famous and long-lasting military uniforms. The most notable aspect of their uniform is the wide brimmed hat pinned with capercaillie feathers

Small tiff with H tonight that I need to process at some point. I felt a flash of real serious anger earlier and found myself freezing up because I was so sure I might do something or say something I would regret otherwise. I am glad I didn't just react because it would have made everything worse and I would then also have the guilt from behaving badly. I think the anger comes from feeling disrespected, because I have tried to manage time and commitments carefully and it felt to me in that moment like H didn't care and wouldn't be helping out. I do think he cares and helps out. I will talk about it with him tomorrow even though trying to have emotionally open talks feels like Peeling off my skin or something. In terms of gratitude, I am grateful I didn't react out of anger earlier. I am grateful I have more basil leaves yielded as the summer crops finish. I am grateful we have an abundance of fresh, clean towels in the linen storage.

Es sind zu viele Männer in meinem Leben und doch golibt mir keiner das was ich will.

L: Hat aich wieder mal gemeldet, nachdem ich ihm vor einigen Monaten gesagt habe, er nutzt mich aus und ich kann ihm nicht widerstehen. Und das verletzt mich.

V: So ein cuter Franzose. Der meldet sich ab und zu und will eigentlich mehr. Aber ee ist viel zu weit weg.

F: Der ist so lieb. Will nichts von mir. Wir sind Freunde. Trotzdem kann ich ihm nicht jeden Mist erzählen.

Dann hätten wir da D: Der ist ganz neu. Kommt aus meiner Stadt und will sich wenn dann nur auf Sex treffen.

Und T: Meldet auch hin und wieder. Will auch nur sexting und ist aber geduldig.
