Eric Michael Stewart. My sweet beautiful Eric darling, where do I even begin? I suppose I should start from the very beginning. Have you got a second, darling? right, here me out..

It was over a decade ago that four lads from Liverpool changed my life forever. I was young then and didn’t have anyone to compare them to so understandably, I was bound to fall hard for those four lads. Since the moment I fell for them, they got me through some of the most insufferable periods of my life and to this day I owe it all to them. They were and still are so very brilliant.

The reason I speak of them is because little did I know that exactly a decade after falling head over heels for those four lads, I would stumble upon the next best thing that ever happened to me—four wonderful lads from Manchester, and you sir happen to be one of those four lads.

I must admit that for a while, I had neglected those four lads from Liverpool. Not intentionally, but life sort of happened and I had different priorities for a little while. I hadn’t been searching for anyone to replace them, and I mean that. But you, together with your mates so graciously invaded my life one fateful day in July of 2022, and frankfully speaking I am very happy you did. You made me bend the rules. What happened to me that day, brought me back to that time all those years ago when I fell madly in love for those four Liverpudlian lads. My life was changed once again, and I cannot be anymore grateful about that.

What I am trying to say is, I do think that the main culprit for why I am so attracted to you is because in my humble opinion, you have all the essential elements that I see in those four Liverpudlian lads. Charm, wit, intelligence, devotion and one element I dare not overlook, your sex appeal. You have it all, my dear. You are all those four Liverpudlians in one beautiful package. A girl cannot be more grateful for something like that.

blimey, I do hope I am not boring you with all this sappy, mushy talk but I am doing it because today is all about you. and in my opinion, everyday is about you. Not a day goes by I don’t think of you, Eric. you are magic to me.

today, I wish you the happiest of birthdays, my sweet darling angel. you are the cherry on my root beer float, the peanut butter to my jelly, the ying to my yang, the aquarius to my gemini. darling, you keep me grounded. you remind to be humble and to have gratitude for every little blessing that comes my way.

you my dear, are a blessing to me. you’ve changed my life in a manner that is rather unfathomable. there are not enough words in the english language to describe how much I love, admire, appreciate and adore you.

to my blues prince, my reggae king, my one and only guitar hero and the guy who deserves all my sloppy kisses today, happy happy happy birthday Eric darling. you rock my world, I cannot thank you enough for adding perpetual joy and new meaning to my life.

i can only imagine what the birthday boy must be feasting on on his big day today. here are some things that come to mind:

a decadent three-layer vanilla cake decorated with fresh strawberries on the edges and filled with homemade strawberry jam

a whole turkey or chicken, baked and surrounded with baked potatoes, chopped carrots and gravy on the side

homemade pecan pie because we all know how much the boy looveess his pudding

a nice, healthy serving of lasagna filled with lots of meat, tomato sauce and cottage cheese because the boy’s motto is always “go big or go home”

and perhaps a carribean delicacy, the famous monkey bread, because what other white man is more carribean infused than my beloved eric stewart?

of course, we would end the night with one of Mr. Stewart’s personal favourite cocktails, a white russian
