Monday being Monday, of course. So I was really lazy to go to school. Especially the moment my classmates came in, they bombarded me with stuffs that should have been done but I did not. So, nc. We also had multiple quizzes and home works and new lessons that just fucked me up. But it was kinda chill in a way we were just enjoying the day. Anyway, we were also chilling, literally this time. The breeze is astonishingly cold today. That is why I am actually feeling the Christmas vibes when it's years to go. I also hella crammed today with some of my classmates because AP rules, as usual.

First Day of the Akai Gurley Trial

On November 20th, 2015 we marked the one year anniversary of Akai Gurley's murder by NYPD Officers Peter Liang and Shaun Landau. It also marked one year of continuous united struggle demanding justice for Akai and his family! We know that Akai Gurley’s murder and the murders of many Black and Brown men, women and children before him are a direct result of an unchecked monopoly of legalized force, brutality and murder. The past year, we have witnessed a year of solidarity from different police brutality families, allied organizations and activists from all walks of life. But the struggle continues as long as Liang and Landau continue to walk free. Support Akai Gurley and his family by promoting, mobilizing and joining us on January 25th, 10AM on the the first the day of trial. AND WEAR A RED SHIRT ON JANUARY 25TH IN SOLIDARITY!
