So I was thinking about how much

first day of School this year. lol 

woke up late 

I thought it was monday

so i packed the things needed for the monday schedule

I only found out that it was tuesday today when I was at school already

EPIC FAIL

i feel so dumb

so after the flag ceremony, no first period

we were told that there will be a surprise program for the school's president after recess

it was her birthday last December 29 but they'll celebrate it today lol

so after the break we went to the gym

and sang happy birthday while she's entering lol. 

so the principal read a letter, then some teachers sang for her

some students read letters for her

then they danced and her husband gave her flowers and they kissed yiekiee HAHAHA 

we were all like" AYYIEEE!:>" HAHAHa

then the program ended

Then told us that the dismissal time would be on 1pm instead of 3:30pm.

over Gringo en Usarmy...

Wauw, het is al maart :)

Een paar weetjes.

Het woord "Gringo" (dat zeggen ze hier tegen Amerikanen) komt van 'Green, go!". Dat zeiden sommige mensen (waarschijnlijk in Vietnam...) tegen de Amerikanen als ze in hun land waren. Ze droegen toen groene uniformen. De link was snel gelegd.

Dit kwam niet van Guatemala, omdat de kans klein was dat ze Engels konden, zo zei mijn lerares al lachend.

Ook is het grappig dat blijkbaar een aantal kinderen "Usarmy" (spreek uit oesarmie) heten. Dit omdat bepaalde mensen de boten van de Amerikaanse marine zagen, waarop stond: "U.S. Army".
