During the autumn season, Seaking swim up rivers from all over to find mates, having gained their red mating colors (that make the rivers seem red with how many Seaking swim up them), the males dance on the floor of rivers to attract females to mate.

Male Seaking use their drill-like horns to carve holes into boulders for their eggs to keep them from washing away.

Seaking are very protective of their eggs, guarding them with their lives for over a month.

During mating season, Seaking gain their most intense colors, the males having that brightest of all.

There are two main groups of Seaking enthusiast Trainers, those who judge them by their horns and those who judge them by their fins, and these two groups are known to not get along.
