Elekid gains energy by spinning its arms, but it tired easily and cannot store electricity easily, so its often running on empty, though that doesn't stop Togedemaru from trying to steal the stored electricity.
When Elekid hear a thunderstorm coming, they get excited and go outside to play, and if a Trainer's Elekid is sad they can play the sounds of a thunderstorm to cheer the Pokemon up.
While charging up energy, Elekid's horns grow blue, and once fully charged they grow brightly, electricity flowing between them, and as such it is advised to refrain from directly touching or putting your hands between Elekid's horns.
Should Elekid touch something metal, it will discharge all of its stored electricity.
Elekid are known for sneaking into people's homes to eat electricity from their outlets.
