i also drew a thing just now!!!! remember that creature in the redraw? well i did a drawing of it!!!!

i don't know animal anatomy at all but!! i gave it my best shot, and did a lot of scribbling and such and it was actually really cathartic and i still like how it came out :]

Mystics, or Mystbirds, are typically reserved for Royals or Noblefolk to use. Few can ever be found in the wild, it would be far easier to steal an egg from the Nurseries than to find one elsewhere. Not only that, but wild Mystics are dangerous. There are stories of these carnivorous creatures snatching Bird Folk from the air and wreaking havoc in small towns. While there are many records of these events, the reality is that today, there are too few left to cause such damage.

Years before their near extinction, many historians claim, Mystics were known to battle with Banana Serpents and Lorenzos and disturbing Stags. Mystics are not huge fans of green foods, only ever wanting to eat meat. Their favorite snack is Flower Dove, which is why Mystics tended to constantly be in conflict with Stags. These battles were devastating and violent. Many stories will claim that a Mystic had thrown a Serpent out of the sea and onto land, where its flailing brought destruction to many small villages.

While they never seemed to claim territories for themselves, Mystics had a nack for pinpointing other creatures' territories and enjoyed trespassing for the enjoyment of harassing others. Nok [Mer Folk] have tales amongst themselves of monsters from the Ocean Canyons being driven out by Mystbirds.

This animosity and unruliness is now unheard of in the modern species. Mystics are now known for their mule-like behavior and tame-ness. Stubborn, but calm. Enough so that they became the 2nd most popular form of transportation.

i did a lot of scribbling here, like. a lot. I also have a redesign of the monotrider, [see previous design here], and when i get that drawn, i'll post it too so you can see it.

STAG!!

Stags are, put simply, sentient trees. They speak, think, and can move. Most are pretty smart, but because they hardly ever speak, a lot of folks think stags are dumb.

They dislike [people, persons] and, depending on what type it is, can be incredibly hostile and territorial. The most friendly ones are usually Birch and White Oak Stags, though even those can be standoffish.

If one thinks there's [people, persons, intruders, tresspassers] in its territory, it's most likely uproot itself and move away. This is rare for them to do, as the process is painful for them and it disturbs the land, which in turn upsets them, so if it can be avoided, a stag will stay in place.

they tend to have swarms of flower doves around them, as flower doves enjoy nesting in their branches. if the stag has birch wood, they also have oaklings around them.

Stags can live up to 2000 years, and can grow to be 300 meters tall and 100 meters wide, though their weight differs.

they have a grudge against kinfolk. they don't mind the other [people, races, species] but they particularly dislike the Kin [0301 species/people]

FLOWER DOVE!!

so, a flower dove is essentially a bird. it's pretty harmless, doesn't do much other than float around stags[another 0301 creature] and eat little fruits. they make good pets, though their lifespan is very short, only living for 5-6 weeks before they die.

they're mostly herbivorous, eating leaves and small fruits/vegetables, but it's not unlikely for them to be seen eating an oakling[another 0301 creature] corpse.

they're very social creatures. they tend to group up, and don't shy away from other creatures, so long as said creatures remain non-threatening. if their company becomes hostile, they puff up their [feathers, leaves, petals] to startle them and then flee.

flower doves aren't hard to find. even though they are mostly silent, only giving the occasional whistle, they're very easy to notice.

while the general shape of each [species, race, type] is overall constant, the colors are what set them apart. depending on its location, diet, and age, flower doves have many different types of colors.

one living in the mountains may be colored like a sunset[red, yellow, orange, pink, etc] and one living near the ocean may be colored like water [blue, navy, aqua, seafoam, etc] and one living near a forest may be colored like a plant [green, yellow, brown, red, etc]

flower doves don't make very many sounds. they whistle, and sometimes, their [feathers, leaves, petals] make rustling sounds, but besides that, they're silent.

they also tend to make nests in holes. since they're mostly soft and have no way to dig holes for themselves, it's also common for them to make nests in trees, though they prefer to nest in the branches of a stag.
