My little pep has officially learned how to imitate us. When I stick my tongue out at him, he now sticks his tiny baby tongue back out at me and it absolutely kills me every time. He also mimics our happy faces and we giggle together. My heart!
April is right around the corner and I’m giving this whole fitness/weight loss thing more of a real try than I have since I gave birth. It’s taken me 10+ weeks to get here and I’m cool with it. I think I’m going to try tracking my weight each day using this calendar like I’ve seen so many others do. We’ll see what I can do in a month!
By the end of April I’ll be fully vaccinated and Pep will have my antibodies as well. We just have to get B an appointment to be vaccinated. Excitingly enough, NY state finally announced that as of today all people aged 30+ are eligible. I’m sure it’ll be hard to find an open appointment initially but we’ll keep trying. We’re planning to do an Airbnb with another couple and their kids in May, and it would be so nice knowing everyone is vaccinated ahead of that.
One random thing that I’ve had on my mind is all the random ailments I’ve noticed lately. A few things have come on only since giving birth: right ankle pain when flexing, knee pain while bending, and right shoulder clicking sometimes. It’s the weirdest thing. My knees and my ankle bother me most — I’m gonna try doing some physical therapy exercises on them and see if I can’t help heal them. I feel like my joints have aged a decade since this babe was born. 😅
