- had some iced cappuccino and it was a bit disappointing #confession

- found georgia and dan in the library and dan attempted to teach me maths

- went to the odyssey rev session and hung out about after to ask mrs mac qs and had some long discussion of bird auguries 

- revised a bit then I could hear lizzy and she found me in the room next to her and she played some chill covers of songs and made me listen to the german michael buble 

- revised some more then found robyn and inka and they were ridiculously hyper, and we were listening to kiss, and they were dancing with their buns

- they introduced me to the song called wasted (new summer anthem yh) and made a funky dance move

- robyn drove us down to the end of the road and we blasted the tune

Уже не знаю, был это август или сентябрь. В любом случае, последний раз я ездила на велосипеде очень давно. Очень хорошо, что сегодня папа пришёл с работы пораньше с: Так как за это время кататься я немного разучилась и с поворотами у меня сейчас беда, иногда, когда дорожка была слишком узкая, приходилось спрыгивать, чтобы развернуть велосипед в другую сторону. Я слишком люблю длинные предложения, чтобы променять их на противные короткие. В один из моментов, когда поезд был совсем рядом, я решила вспомнить детство. Знаете, было обидно, что никогда не удавалось пробежать быстрее проезжающей мимо машины. В общем, когда поезд сравнялся с моей воображаемой линией старта, началась гонка века. Пока ехала по прямой, иногда поглядывала сбоку на соперника. И когда водитель в окошке показал жестами ехать быстрее, я вот охерел, честно. Вскоре мне удалось его опередить, так как он стал тормозить из-за приближающейся остановки. Да по-любому просто струсил. Уже по дороге в обратную сторону, проезжая мимо остановившегося поезда, водитель в окошко показал поднятый вверх большой палец.  Учитывая то, что в это время шёл дождик. впечатления остались просто нереальные:D

Today my friends reduced me to tears by telling me that feminism was unnecessary. They said "we have all the rights we need", "we don't care about the women in other countries, they can speak for themselves", "I don't care about it", "feminism doesn't exist", "all feminists hate men, that's not fighting for equality that's wanting women to be above men" and the one comment that set me off "you are asking for it (rape) if you wear "slutty" clothing". I have never been more upset with them ever. I'm disgusted. I had everything I believe so strongly in crushed and mocked by people who I thought cared about me. They dehumanized me and my beliefs and I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive them for that.

How can people be so oblivious to what's happening around them? How can you not feel angered by the lack of equality in our society both statistically and socially? And how can you not even listen to someone who is trying to help you by opening your eyes? 

I'm sick of sandwich jokes, I'm sick of "oh you're angry? Must be on your period", I'm sick of cat calls and wage gaps, slut shaming, victim blaming, the use of "feminine" traits being used as put downs, over sexualisation of women, the idea that a woman's worth is measured by how much she can please a man, gender rolls, employment bias, lack of women in position of power and I'm sick of having no support, from friends or family. I'm sick of the men-hating, unshaven, "bitchy" stereotype given to us, the feminists. We are people, we are women, we are strong and we shouldn't have to stand for all the shit that is constantly thrown at us or taken away from us.
