LEWIS AFTER QUALIFYING P5 IN SILVERSTONE | 05.07.25

“The lap was pretty decent at the end, and then I lost a bit of time in the last corner which would’ve probably put me on the front row, or at least third. We were right on the knife’s edge. Other than that, I squeezed everything I could out of the car.”

Starting to get on top of the car? “I definitely feel a lot better in the car this weekend. This track is incredible, the crowd’s been amazing. I wish – naturally we need a little bit more, we need like another tenth of performance in the car just to edge a little bit closer to the front guys.” Podium infront of the home crowd? “I’ll dream of [a podium] tonight and try and execute tomorrow. The weather’s going to be interesting, I imagine it’s dry probably for the race but it would be cool if it’s drizzling. We’ll see.”
