Today has brought me so much peace. I woke up feeling like awful bc I couldn’t breathe well bc of anxiety. But then I got some stuff sorted and I really just feel the “okay, you can slow down for a second” after so long of go go go go go.

I’m very fortunate to be in the position I am, and it’s like I’m standing on the precipice of the rest of my life. I have no debt. I have good people in my life. I have the opportunity to save up and build credit, and who knows? By this time next year — if this fucking housing market situation gets less nuts — I could be living in my own place, alone for the first time in my life. Financially stable. Taking care of myself without the fear of judgement or retaliation.

It’s always going to be a mental battle, but today I feel hopeful for my future.
