Camera gear by coffeeandbeer80 on Flickr.
Today really highlighted my need for a decent tripod. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking at the Manfrotto 055XPROB with the standard 3 way head. My only real requirements are it should come in under £350 (ideally for both head and legs, but I can be flexible), be at least 140cm (although to be honest, 160cm is preferred with the centre column down, and be able to hold up to at least a 5x4 field camera. I'm not so bothered about weight as long as it doesn't weigh as much as me, and material isn't an issue.
Anyone got any suggestions?
