071517 | Burn

After we devoured on our dinner and having some conversations, someone called. We panicked and rushed off. If it wasn’t because of a random trike, we could’ve run on our way home. My heart was pounding. We then saw a crowd upon reaching home, there was no power, our things scattered on the floor -- burned, literally. A part of the house where I am staying was on fire while we’re out. Good thing someone noticed the fire quickly and the neighborhood was alert enough and helped our fellow whom we left alone. Most of my things got burned while my clothes smelled dry chemicals from the fire extinguisher. Who would have thought? The first thing that I looked for was my laptop that I just got almost a month ago. I cried when I saw the same lappy,  but it was not what I was looking for. What a shame. That night I felt helpless. Pagkakamalas ah. I wished we didn’t leave, I wished we weren’t careless, I wished it didn’t happened. What’s worst is that we just found out a few days ago that the LPG tank was left open during the fire. Imagine if they weren’t able to save that one first? Hindi ko na alam. TT_TT

PS: It’s kind of late, but please do know that we appreciate and are thankful for all the help that we got! 

PPS: To this random lady who told us “tatanga tanga kasi” even after the incident, I wish you rot in hell. Get a life, motherfucker!
