I let myself sleep in to about 7:30 this morning, so I didn’t get my morning walk in before work. I had a break between meetings at about 11am, and it was still in the 70s outside, so I made sure to get out and take a walk. It’s a beautiful day out there.
I’ve been pretty steady with workouts lately and I’ve found myself having adopted a mantra that I won’t have two “rest” days in a row. I didn’t set out declaring that would be my goal, but I’ve quietly adopted it and I really like it. It’s easy to stick to and I actually find myself wanting to go out and get a sweat going, especially if I know I hadn’t worked out the day prior.
Since the beginning of June I haven’t worked out less than 3 days a week. Small habits are key!
