I feel like no matter how much I try, I'm never going to make it. I'm slowly giving myself and my needs up. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but it can't be helped. It's always harder for people who have nothing to reach for their dreams compared to those who grew up with no worries. I thought that if I kept being the strong person I am, I'll be able to make it. However, after multiple events I figured it out. Those who were born with the struggle to keep food on their table, have a roof over their head, have clothes to wear, have transportation, and have the luxury of getting allowances will always have to fight for those things while those who had all of those things listed above have it much easier. I'm sure they have their own struggles too, but it can't be as heartbreaking as trying to have food on the table for everyone to eat. I'm beginning to think that we are all only living to work and pay back the debt we have. It's funny because this thing called the American Dream, feels nonexistent.
