Me when I'm a liar and a snake 🐍❣️
I've said this before but really the lying and deceiving and cheating wasn't the part that made Kuon a shit-tier player in Ego's eyes, shown very clearly with Igaguri's malicia, if you can cheat and get away with it then hell yeah that's still our win, if you can stomp over your team's strategy and score a hat-trick by ignoring the rest of your team then more power to you that's exactly what being an egoist is all about, that confidence and the power to back it up- it's the fact that all three of those goals were bought. It's functionally no different from how some sports are now treated like a business where certain teams or players are pay-to-win, regardless of talent, if their sponsors want to push a name or a brand, and it defeats the entire purpose of this round robin being the games that would strain the exceptional from the unexceptional. There's no way a guy who needed to buy his way into having the most goals on the team would be allowed to rank up
BAROU THE GOAT HE'S HERE
I'm so fuckin sad rn. superhero kunigami I miss u

Me when I lie
Society if the bluelockers had pulled the friends-asking-for-the-kid-with-strict parents card
He's literally going to nationals anyway. He's got all of his fans that adore him and his team that centers completely around him and his plays and his talent and his title of "japan's national treasure” he will literally be FINE. It's like they never made it past episode 2 where his humble team-oriented facade was shattered by walking into blue lock anyway. he outright was Hanging onto people's admiration of him to try and stay in and flips out when ego doesn't give a fuck about who he is. Crying about how unfair it all was and demanding isagi or igaguri be kicked out by merit of being more famous than them. I literally could not see this guy making it anywhere after he's carried through the red robin
You get it you get the themes you understand
