Nigh out. - Evash.
This was not the first time they argued but it was the first time their arguments involved their son. Damien, Ashley and Evan's one year old son had come to their room while they were fighting and seemed to know exactly what was happening since he looked at his parent and said "Fight". That was the moment Evan realized that the constant fighting and yelling was affecting his son. He needed to get out of the house, he was ashamed and couldn't look at his son's face. After having a short conversation with Ashley, he called Jason, Ashley's brother and he agreed on watching Damien for the night while they went out to meet Evan's friends. "I don't want to go to there anymore" said Evan as he drove pass his friend's house. "I want to be alone with you somewhere." he spoke softly, almost as a whisper, never taking his eyes away from the road, not sure if the whole night out by themselves was a good idea and still feeling a hell lot of shame from what happened with his son.
The Morning After // Evash.
Evan and Ashley's relationship had always been a roller coaster. Since the day they met for the fist time their dynamic was crazy, they couldn't spend two day apart but when they were together they couldn't stand each other. It didnt help at all that they had similar personalities and that fact just made every argument they had wrose then the last, but also made every special moment they had bigger than any fight they could ever had. After many ups and downs, being together for two years and a one years old son, not much was different. They still had the same personalities that made them crash two years ago, but they loved and wanted each other more than ever. ''Wake up'' Evan murmured to Ashley who was asleep next to him, ''Seriously, wake up, your son is crying'' he was tired, and hungover and as much as he wanted to get Damien to stop crying he didn't have the energy to even open his eyes, much less to get off the bed and calm a baby. The previous night was a wild one, him and Ashley had a huge argument that ended up in cake and a marriage proposal. After months of thinking about it he decided it was about time to stop fooling around and be true to what he felt for Ashley. There was nothing in the world he wanted more than be a husband to her, even though he never admit it to her, he always wanted to put a ring on her finger and after deep thought he brought himself to do it and unexpectedly she said yes, and finally after years of fighting their feelings for each other, they were engaged. ''I'll be your husband soon, show some respect and get up and calm your son'' he continued to tell her, now moving her arm trying to get her out of bed, ''OH FUCKING HELL, I'll do it'' he got off the bed and managed to make his way to his son's room with his eyes closed. ''Come here boy'' he whispered looking down at his baby, ''It's okay bud, I'm here'' there was nothing that made him happier than seeing his son's smile when heard his voice ''Yeah, that's better'' he picked Damien up and gave him a kiss, ''By the way little man, you are just one year old but you need to know that mommy and daddy are getting married, how cool is that?'' he asked the little boy as he walked down the hall back to the room he shared with his now fiance, ''Let's stay in bed all day, yeah?'' he jumped to the bed and placed Damien between his body and Ashley's.
Coffe date! ~ Evash.
After weeks alone with Damien, Evan was glad to know that Ashley was back in town after being away in NYC filming her new movie. This was the longest period of time that he spent alone with his son without having Ashley's help and even when he enjoyed it a lot, he started to appreciate and understand more everything Ash did for their baby. He was constantly telling her she was an amazing mom and now he had no doubt that his son couldn't have a better mom than her. After talking to Ashley and agreeing on meeting for a coffee at a coffee shop downtown, he got ready and woke Damien up, gave him a quick and warm bath and dressed him with a "cute" outfit Ash bought for him. He grabbed everything they needed and when everything was ready he stepped out of the house and got the baby settled in the car before jumping inside the car himself; "On my way there. Wear something sexy." he smiled, looking at the text he just wrote to Ashley and finally made his way downtown. After what seemed an eternity, he was parking at the shop they agreed on meeting and for some reason, he felt himself getting nervous and anxious. Why was he feeling like that? It was just Ashley, they were over and they had a weird friendship now, nothing for him to be excited about, but even knowing that, he was still excited and even happy to see her. He took Damien out of the car, put it on the floor and took his little hand, guiding him inside the shop where it didn't last long until the little boy spotted his mom and ran to her before giving her a huge hug. Evan laughed at the whole scene and went over to the table where Ash was sitting, "Hey, what about me? Can I be in the group hug?" He asked laughing.
The wedding {Self Para}
After giving it serious thought, Evan decided he couldnt miss Troian’s wedding. She was one of the only friends he had, and even if they didnt talk everyday, when they did they were always honest with each other and she would always support him no matter what he did. She was an amazing friend to him and an amazing human being and he couldn’t miss sharing this special day with her. He knew he wasn’t going to mingle much at the wedding, but he didn’t care, all he wanted was to see his friend at her happiest. He was happy to see that love still existed and that if things involving love didn’t workout for him, they did workout for other people. It wasn’t all shit, this showed him that it was possible to have a happy ending, a better day, true happiness, a real laugh. In a way this made him both sad and determined to find his soulmate and the love of his life. Even though love wasn’t his favorite topic, he couldn’t give up on it.
He did what he always do, he picked up the first thing he saw in the closet. It was an all black suit he used for a red carpet, and a pair of shoes to match. He jumped in the shower and thoughts started to fly around his mind. Ashley was probably going to be there, and even though he felt he was finally moving on and they were good with this new friendship they had, he knew she was going to be looking beyond beautiful at the wedding, and he could only imagine if instead of getting ready for his friend’s wedding, he was getting ready for his own, with Ashley. It still hurt sometimes to think there was no way back, no way of fixing things, and they had to live the rest of their lives looking at each other with that bit of sadness of knowing things could’ve had been different. He shook his head and took a deep breath, letting the warm water wash away the sad thoughts, this was a happy day, there was no room for sadness.
After the long shower, he finally got ready, and after giving himself a final look in the mirror, he grabbed his phone, wallet and keys, and made his way to were the wedding was going to happen. The ride there took less than he thought, and Evan felt himself getting anxious seeing all the cars and the familiar faces waiting for the wedding to start. He got out of the car, and walked to the place, nodding at some of the familiar faces as he made his way to his seat and waited for his friend to walk down the aisle.
Visiting (Evash)
Evan was being lazy as usual, having nothing to do and being bored all day wasn't as cool as he thought it would be. All he was spending his days by himself watching tv and reading stupid things on the internet and he was getting tired of it. He needed some human contact with someone other than Damien, he loved his son but he needed to hang around some people who could actually talk and after several failed attempts to being social and nice to people the last couple of weeks, he gave up. Grabbing his phone, he texted the only person he thought would reply; Ashley. Although they had a bunch of problems in the past it looked like they were finally learning how to treat each other without being in a relationship. They both knew they had to be respectful and as nice as they could towards each other in order to give Damien a happy childhood and good memories, and thats what they were doing. After she replied to her text and they agreed on him going to her place to spend some time with the girl and Damien, he took a quick shower and put on his usual lazy shorts and white T-shirt and made his way to his now ex's house. He stopped on the way and bought some cupcake for the afternoon and then continued his ride to the girl's house. When he got there, he took the cupcakes bag and got out of the car, walked to the door and let himself in. Looking around he didn't see Ashley or Damien, so he made his way upstairs and found the two laying in bed. "How lazy" he said stepping inside the room.
