HEY, so yesterday I went to the #REVIVALevent for Selena’s new album, and I got to hear her perform GFY and Same Old Love, see her music video for Same Old Love, and a snippet of the (amazing!!!) song Revival, but I ALSO got to meet her :D

Okay so i was like next in line with the Holy Letter for her in my hand, (in the pic she’s holding it :D ) and my sister just finished her chance with her and she wrote a letter for her too and i heard her tell my sister oh my god these are my favorite!” which got me more excited b/c then she would like that i also wrote her a letter :D ANYway okay so it w as my turn and i kid you not i couldn’t even get out a “Hi Selena” without me legitimately Trembling and tears were just streaming down my face NON STop. and I told her that i loved her and that she has helped me so much with my confidence, and i couldn’t stop sobbing and i like apologized bc i SWEAR like i didn’t even think anything i was saying was making sense there was no full sentence and she was like “no baby you’re okay” and HER HAND WAS ON MY SHOULD ER AND THE OTHER HAD HAD HER FINGERS LIKE BRUSHING MY HAIR and she was like “that’s the hardest part, but we gotta ________________(i will never know what i gotta bc i couldn’t hear her through my sobs) BUT i did hear after that she was like “ you’re so beautiful” and vnofeirvnermeovneivern KAy I thanked her for everything and told her i loved her and we hugged in our pic and on my way out as i was crying she told me i was beautiful again and i really can’t believ last night was real...but she made me feel so special okay talking to her and her listening so intently and she made me feel like she genuinely cared about me and i truly beleve she dOEs like this is my mom ...so yeah

Times like this are when I wish I had a best friend. I'm still just so upset and confused and my mom can only offer me so much help being so distant. I need someone who will just sit next to me on my bed when I'm upset. To just be there for me, ya know? Someone who can take my mind off of all of this by taking a drive far from here or telling me a funny story. When they tell you how great it is to be independent, they forget to mention how incredibly lonely it is.
