It took a little longer for the blond to wake up than it had his roommate. Perhaps, because he was a Gundam Pilot, more of the sedative that had been used to bring all of the 'players' here had been administered to him. Whatever the case may have been, it took him very little time at all to figure out the puzzle and escape the confines of his room.
He didn't leave immediately, instead choosing to have a look around his new sleeping quarters first, mostly because the bed opposite his own looked as if there had been someone sleeping in it until recently. Everything was searched, partially so he could perhaps memorize what was there, and where, and possibly also to find his missing roommate.
When his search turned out to be fruitless, he finally left. The sudden announcement startled him, and he didn't know what to think anymore. He has originally thought that perhaps he and the other pilots had been captured by the enemy again without him realizing or remembering, but... he was sure now that it wasn't the case.
He checked every door that he came across; the majority of the doors were locked, and the ones he found that he could go in seemed to be 'community' rooms. A few bathrooms, a laundry room, an infirmary...
The ones that were locked had panels next to them, and he figured out that these panels scanned the bracelet that was securely attached to his wrist. None of them but the room he'd come out of opened for him, however, so he made note of the room number.
If he'd been captured, why would he be allowed to escape? Even though they had taken any weapons he'd had on him, it still seemed a little dangerous to just allow a Gundam Pilot to wander around.
Finally, he made his way out of the dorm hall and into the building that contained the cafeteria, library, and living room. The announcement had told him to go to the living room, but he decided that having a look around first might be a better option. His priority was to find another person, and if he had been that late in waking up, chances could be that they weren't even in that room anymore.
As he passed the hall that parted the living room from the library, he noticed a couple of people near the lift, and chose to approach them.
"Hey! Hello, can anyone tell me what's going on in this place?" he asked, in a friendly but not-so-quiet way.
