lanque hasn’t really intended to be a stranger per say after they’ve entered the mansion together, but he hasn’t been particularly in close proximity to mettaton either. the machine working it on the dance floor, the troll frankly downing too much of the champagne. it takes a lot to get him drunk, and if the alcohol is free? it’d be rude to hold back. when he feels he’s had enough to forget everything the next day, he stumbles and turns ready to finally join mettaton.
