You know I was just never feeling it for the whole Jeffrey Dahmer thing
but I'm feeling it now wow I finally understand
like really, I felt serial killer fans were stupid. And a lot of them are, so I never cared to learn more about the killers as people despite having read up on all of them. Another case of annoying fans causing undeniable bias.
But then even listening to "Killing for Company" I'd tried to figure out Gira's angle on it all and couldn't hone in on *why* it'd be interesting.
It's weird, I feel like this is a reason I usually don't have poor opinions on things and am generally positive about reviews for movies and music. I have no opinion of many things when I first encounter them and, with repeat exposures, I usually take a liking to them. It all comes into place. Most songs I have ever absolutely hated turned into some of my favorites in this manner (except "Give me the Beat Boys." I don't think I will ever not hate that song. Hatin' since elementary school).
And it's a process I absolutely love going through. I wish I could bottle up the feelings so I could just experience them whenever. Basically, I wish I could experience new perspectives all the time.
