Evan - Honestly I would personally say probably Jade. She's lowkey obsessed with her there's no other way to explain why she's so wrapped up in her family. She spends her time with a guy who she's convinced herself she's "in love" with when the truth is that she just wants to get at Jade. Ben is so wrong for her but he's known nothing else and Evan can't let go of her obsession so they keep circling each other. Doesn't help that she works for James either.
Val - Val is probably that she doesn't make enough time for herself. She works really hard in school and gets great grades but she's always missing time with her friends or family because she's studying or writing a paper or whatever else.
Char - Can I say their whole family lmao. On a serious note, they regret not being strong enough to say no to their father. In their canon age right now they are still too weak to stand up against him but even when they get stronger and are evenly matched when they're older they're just still too scared of him, it's completely a mental thing (char go to therapy jfc)
2. How do the express envy or jealousy?
Spar - Sparrow never really has a reason to be jealous as she has always gotten exactly what she has wanted her whole life buuuut. When Ezra would be seeing other people or when random people compliment him on the street she's pretty possessive of him. She avoided him like the plague when they split up cause it hurt so bad to see him tbh.
Vincent - As a college athlete he's just always pushing himself too hard. He sees other people doing things better than him and while it makes him jealous he just channels that into trying harder, his work ethic is insane lmao.
Maeve - I haven't thought out much for her buuuuuut I think she's gonna be like the type to just shut herself off from people, just really sad if she sees the person she likes with another person ya know.
3. Do they have a go-to story or catchprase?
Jake - He never shuts up about anything regarding Max, especially about when they were in their honeymoon period. His subordinates are so tired of hearing about this woman but they know better than to say anything. He carries pictures of their wedding in his wallet and will not hesitate to show them off to people when he sees fit.
4. If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?
Max - See this one is interesting because her perspective of romantic love has been so warped. She would say romantic love is giving up your best interests for the interest of other people, family and her partner, even if she doesn't want to she's sticking to her marriage because it is keeping the people she loves safe. Platonic is just someone you don't have to get into bed with, she doesn't have a lot of friends, she kind of counts Will as a friend as her personal bodyguard but she wouldn't say that out loud, but she's very protective of the ones she does have. Family love she would die for them, Jake knows this, which is why, not only because he has a twisted sort of love for her, he targets Char instead of Max.
5. How sensitive are they to their own flaws?
Jade - For a while she was in the closet, dating Levi in high school, she was worried everyone would hate her when she came out, mostly Levi, so that was a very sensitive time in her life where she thought she was flawed even though she wasn't. Levi to this day says that she's the love of his life, but he'd rather not lose her completely and he completely understands that she needed to be herself.
Jeremy - Jerm fought with his sexuality HARD, from a young age in the back of his head he knew he was gay, his parents were not approving so he hid it well behind random women, he hated himself so much though, definitely the lowest point in his life, especially because he saw Chris as more than a best friend but he couldn't say anything, just an extremely sensitive time for him.
Mason - She's got a huge ego she would say she has zero flaws but the second you point something out she's throwing a tantrum I must say LMAO. She hides behind her ego but she's a huge sensitive baby, Levi coddles her which doesn't help at all but what can you do.
Sorry for my absence, I've been taking a break trying to keep breathing, my grandma passed away two weeks ago and I started school again so it's been a pretty scary time for me. Last year felt like the longest year of my life where I kept experiencing loss after loss. I lost 3 of my grandparents, and my 3 ferrets and a very close friend. I lost my own space, a job, a functioning left arm 😭.
It was a lot, but I am so grateful for this community. Through this community I have met so many great people who have taught me so so much, i've gotten better at making skins and custom content and although I haven't shared much publicly because it genuinely makes me nervous, I'm grateful I have a group of friends who appreciate them and can get use out of them. I'm really glad I get to be a part of this community and I cannot wait to see what the next year brings here! I love you guys!
