two question, one, what cosplay are you doing? and two, where do you buy these bones? im really interested and this would look great in other cosplay thoughts
I'm doing a naturepunk!Rufioh cosplay, and being a bone person like I am obviously the really cartoony bones a lot of people use in their cosplays simply Would Not Do.
I found all of mine through eBay and etsy. In eBay they tend to be in the hunting/taxidermy listings while in etsy they're in the craft supplies, often in jewelry supplies. Depending on where you live you might also be able to find some through craigslist, if the local hunting's good enough.
Search for "bone lots" or "taxidermy bones" and you'll find a bunch of sellers with a range of different animal bones to offer ("animal bones" will also give you some results, but a lot of people just list them by the specific animal so that won't pick those listings up). Some of them are really skeevy, though, so you'll have to filter though them and check their other listings to get an idea of where they're getting their stuff and how. Some sellers also offer "cruelty free" listings, though, so that's a good term to search for if you (or any other dear readers reading this with interest) want more weathered-looking bones (as they're generally found while on nature walks and the like) or bones that don't come from hunting or trapping.

do you know if there are any homestuck meetups for halloween in the miami region? it would be really nice to meet some miami homestucks c:
I haven't heard of anything specifically pertaining to Miami for Halloween, but the MiamiStuck Coordinator is planning a Halloween Horror Nights Meetup on the 27th, and there's ArcadeStuck on the 20th (although it's more of an October Meetup than a halloween-specific meetup).
The only Halloween-specific Meetups I've heard of are all north of Miami, such as Fright NightsStuck held by Palm Beach CountyStucks and the aforementioned Horror Nights Meetup.
Hope this has helped!
